I will introduce you to the fundamentals of yoga postures and breathing techniques, selecting postures which meet your specific needs, offering hands on adjustments to ensure that you develop a safe and beneficial yoga practice. Suitable for beginners or the seasoned practitioner. Whether our session is in your home or mine, I provide mats, blocks, straps, bolsters, and anything else we may need. Mindful Flow Level 1
An alignment based vinyasa flow class that combines breath awareness and therapeutic postures into a moving meditation. Everyone is welcome, however Fundamentals is recommended.
Meditation class will explore various styles of meditation while sitting or laying down. In addition to meditation, students will learn breath techniques that can be incorporated into everyday life to relieve stress. All levels are welcome! Chairs are offered for those who prefer more support.
This class is perfect for those with limited mobility or recovering from injury or surgery. This class provides a nurturing environment for you to relax deeply. Gentle poses and breathing techniques will be used in order to cultivate a deep state of healing. Chairs and props will also be incorporated into this class. Class will end with 3-4 restorative poses (longer, supported, holds).
In this class, students will hold traditional restorative yoga poses anywhere from five to ten minutes with the support of props. Restorative yoga soothes the nervous system, encourages mindfulness, and slows down the pace of life. In addition to the poses, breath-work and meditation will also be incorporated.
Restorative Yoga & Reiki Healing
In this class (60 minutes) or workshop (120 minutes) students will hold traditional restorative yoga poses anywhere from five to ten minutes with the support of props. Restorative yoga soothes the nervous system, encourages mindfulness, and slows down the pace of life. To deepen your experience of healing and relaxation, Reiki Therapy is incorporated into this class. Reiki is an ancient form of universal energetic healing that encourages a state of balance, harmony, and healing. Reiki Therapy works on all levels of physical, emotional and spiritual elements, to help reduce stress, anxiety and other ailments (this element of the class is optional). We will also explore various styles of meditation to enhance relaxation.
